Isidro is part of a new hybrid breed of visual and literary artist. Straddling the line between image and word he
creates solutions based on the world around, not from a local but a global root.
Born on the Island of Cuba he lends an international eye to both his design work and his writing. He inherently applies a diverse sensibility to his
new media work, creating design and communications with lasting value.

He was instrumental in creating the first online presence for Lawrence Ferlinghetti's City Lights Books and Publishing,
and the beat generation landmark "vesuvios cafe" in San Francisco.
Isidro's focus has been on the world of film, literature and publications. His background stretches from his role as the Academic Book Dept. Director for the Strand in NYC to his position as Phoenix Books Antiquarian in early nineties san francisco.
Whether designing a variety of book covers for a local publisher or writing the screenplay for
an independent film his dual skilset, and bi-lingual talent makes him a valuable asset to any project.
Following a trip by car through the wilds of Mexico, including a stay at a sculpture school in Chiapas, he settled into the balmy world of Miami, Florida.
This gateway to the Southern Americas provides an international backdrop to his current creations and is always a key factor in any brainstorm discovery process.
