On December 1, 2005, three months after Hurricane Katrina, residents were allowed into their homes for the first time since the storm.

Through personal stories of survival, loss, anger, and faith, Heaven Come Down is an intimate look at an historical neighborhood, and the strength and determination of its residents to overcome the devastation that befell the region. This is a part of American History.
